      Mabel L. Armstrong went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, at the Tulsa Regional Hospital after an illness. She was 88. Mabel was born Oct. 5, 1916, in rural Ottawa County near Wyandotte to Ed and Mary Jane (Frazier) Patrick. She married Chester Armstrong Oct. 5, 1940. He preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1988. She was a faithful member of the Fisher Flat Church in rural Wyandotte all of her life. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and living life to the fullest -- especially in the company of family and friends. She was a loving, caring compassionate mother. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Mae Rohmiller and Marie Williams; an infant brother, Glenn Patrick; and an infant daughter, Sandra Lee Armstrong. Survivors include her children, Patricia Armstrong, Bob Armstrong and Doug Armstrong, all from rural Wyandotte. Funeral services were held at Fisher Flat Church with the Rev. Carlin Thompson officiating. Interment location: Council House Cemetery Pallbearers were Martin Hudson, Darrell Frazier, Dale Frazier, Perry Isley, Jim Wilkins, Bill Back and Lawrence Barnes. Honorary pallbearers are John Rohmiller, Mike Williams, Darrell Armstrong, Rick Armstrong, Will Armstrong, Mark Peterson, Rob Peterson and Earl Vinson
