    Cindy L. Coffey of Goodman, Mo., died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at Freeman Neosho (Mo.) Hospital after an illness. She was 46. Mrs. Coffey was born March 13, 1962, in Joplin, Mo., to Melvin Reed Sr. and Phyllis (Merriman) Reed. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Missouri Southern State University in 1984. She taught school in McDonald County, Mo., Seneca, Mo., Afton, Grove and Greenfield, Mo. She was a member of the Seneca Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma and a member of Seneca Christian Church. She married Robert "Bob" Coffey on March 19, 1985, in Fairview, Mo. He survives. Additional survivors include one son, Luke William Coffey of Wichita, Kan.; one daughter, Mackenzie Shea Coffey, of the home; her mother, of rural Wyandotte; two brothers, Melvin Reed Jr. of Joplin and Wayne Reed of Wyandotte, and one sister, Amy Stockton of Claremore. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Winston Reed. Services were held at the Seneca Christian Church with Doug Lawson officiated. The burial location, Council House Cemetery. An Indian rite was conducted by the Seneca Cayuga Tribe. Pallbearers were Dan Stockton, Monty Miller, Justin Morgan, Reuben Tipton, Melvin Reed Jr. and Wayne Reed.
