      December 27th 2018 – June 19th 2025
      With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of My beloved Colt Avery, age 6, who left this world peacefully on June 19th, after bravely facing lifelong health challenges. Though his time with us on this side of heaven was far too short, Colt was a radiant light who touched the hearts of all who knew him. His joyful spirit, sweet smile, and remarkable strength inspired everyone around him. He was truly unstoppable.
      Throughout his life, Colt was surrounded by unconditional love and care. His devoted Mom, Justine, dedicated herself completely to his well-being, showing him endless compassion, strength, and tenderness every single day. Their bond was one of profound love, and her care brought him comfort and joy through every challenge he faced.
      Colt brought happiness to all who were blessed to know him — family members, friends, caregivers, and the many people whose lives he brightened with his beautiful presence. He taught us the true meaning of resilience, hope, and unconditional love.
      Colt is survived by his loving Mom, Justine Theresa McDade, Tommy McDade and Dan Martinez; His bubba Cameron and Sis Alexa McDade; Cade and Riley Martinez His four Grandparents and aunts.
      A special thank you to Dr. Dave Shahani, Dr. John Pfaff, all the nurses and staff at Cook Children’s Hospital who cared for Colt over the passed 6 years. They provided exceptional care, kindness and dedication and it meant so much to Colt and those who loved him. Your compassion made an immeasurable difference in his Journey.
      Colt’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 28th. Viewing will take place from 2:00-4:00pm. With a service following at 4:00pm at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel in New Braunfels Texas.
