    April 29, 2007 Ransom Frank Dick Grove, OK -- Ransom Frank Dick, 88, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Integris Grove General Hospital, Grove, Oklahoma. Ransom was born October 7, 1918 in Ottawa County, Oklahoma, to Frank William and Saphronia Lee (Mingo) Dick. Ransom moved to Grove in 1987 from Juneau, Alaska. He became a member of the Independent Baptist Church in Grove in 1989. Ransom is survived by his wife, Marianne, of the home; one son, Larry Dean Dick of Florence, South Carolina; two sisters, Vera McGilbray of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Joy Philbeck of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother, Richard Dick, and his wife Peggy of Fort Washington, Maryland; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Ransom is preceded in death by five sisters and one brother. Funeral service were at the Independent Baptist Church of Grove, Oklahoma, with Pastor Marty Hughes officiating. Burial location: Council House Cemetery in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. The Grove Veterans' Ritual Team participated at the graveside service.
