Gould Perkins Bishop born on January 10, 1920, in Skiatook, Oklahoma, his father, Simeon, was 17 and his mother, Linda Tyner, was 17. He married his first wife, Mary Elizabeth Fish, on March 18, 1948, in Benton County, Arkansas. On February 4, 1956, he married his second wife, Edythe Helen Harrell, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He died on January 27, 1988, was also married to Cloine Allie Perkins. in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 68, and was buried in Cayuga, Oklahoma.
