Lucy Ann Grimes, 77, of Blue Springs, MO passed away October 22, 2016 at her home surrounded by family. The visitation is on Wednesday, October 26th from 6pm-8pm at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel. Funeral service 11am Thursday at the chapel with interment following in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Lucy was born May 19, 1939 to Lucy & Charles Birgam. She worked at a variety of jobs, retiring from Victim Impact Panel. Her interests included traveling, gambling, sewing and quilting. She took great pride in her quilting, winning many awards for her handiwork. A day out with Lucy always included a trip out to eat! Lucy was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Norman Grimes. She is survived by children: Linda, George, Elaine, Steve, & Cheri; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a sister.
