      Funeral services for Leon Scott Bitsie were at 10 a.m. Thursday,
      March 26, 2015, at Rollie Mortuary. Burial was in Gallup City Cemetery.
      Bitsie was born Dec. 24, 1982, in Gallup, into the Towering House People Clan
      born for the Seneca Tribe.
      Bitsie attended Roosevelt Elementary, Wingate Middle School and Gallup High School.
      He made arts and crafts, and worked at Sonic and the Salvation Army in Albuquerque.
      Bitsie enjoyed going fishing, camping, traveling, being with his children,
      friends and family and joking with his uncles.
      Survivors include his wife Vicki Chee Bitsie; sons Leandre Bitsie and Landon Chee;
      daughters Britney Tsosie, Brianna Tsosie, Savannah Lea Bitsie,
      and McKayla Bitsie;
      mother Betty Bitsie; brothers Leroy Scott Bitsie; sisters Rosalie Gonzales,
      Rosalyn Bitsie, Justine Bitsie and Sheryl Bitsie; and grandfather Richard Bitsie.
      He was preceded in death by Molly Pete, Vivian Logan Bitsie, Michael Ray Bitsie,
      Marie Pete, Glenson Pete Sr., Freda Bustamante Emerson Yazzie Jr.
      and father Richard Bitsie Jr.
      Pallbearers were Leroy S. Bitsie, Robert Bitsie, Noah Gonzalez, Edmund Bitsie, Vincent Pete and Jameson Pete.
      Rollie Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
