      Rosanna "Rosie" Lord Jan. 14, 2013 QUAPAW, OK — Rosanna "Rosie" Mae Lord, 72, a Quapaw EMS employee, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Seneca-Cayuga A.O.A. Building, Wyandotte, Okla. Burial will be in Bassett-Grove Cemetery, Grove. Arrangements are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Miami. Rosanna “Rosie” Mae Lord, 72, of Quapaw passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at Miami Nursing Center in Miami, Okla. Rosie was born March 23, 1940 to Tommie F. and Amanda Mae (Bearskin) Harjo in Wyandotte, Okla. She attended the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Miami, and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a nurse’s assistant for Northeastern Tribal Health Services for over 21 years, she was on the ambulance crew for Quapaw EMS, she attended Okmulgee Technical School for Commercial art but her true passion was health services. She is preceded in death by her father, and one brother: James Whiteagle. Survivors: her mother: Amanda, one daughter: Sue Hamiton, one sister: Patty Harjo Shinn of Quapaw, Okla., six grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 at the Seneca-Cayuga A.O.A. Building south of Wyandotte. Interment will follow in the Bassett-Grove Cemetery North of Grove with Paul Barton honoring her with Native American Rites. Pallbearers will be: Jason Whiteagle, Jr. Whiteagle, John Whiteagle, Ted Beaden, William Tarrant and John Sharlee.
