      Inola E. Dusty' Sanders-Smith
      Inola E. Dusty' Sanders-Smith of Miami died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at Freeman Health Systems West Hospital in Joplin, Mo. She was 60. Mrs. Sanders-Smith was born Sept. 27, 1947, in Arkansas City, Kan., to William Samuel and Francis Edith (Milligan) Fultz. She lived in the Miami area for 33 years, moving from Anthony, Kan. She was a nurse and had worked at Westville Nursing Home. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, Leonard Catfish Smith of the home; one son, Jeff Sanders of Norwich, Kan.; one daughter, Ashlee Strickland of Round Rock, Texas; one sister, Janice Corene Hare of Harper, Kan., and two grandchildren, Syanne Strickland and Lucas Strickland, both of Round Rock. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Quapaw Tribal Center, southeast of Quapaw. Kevin Dawes will officiate. Burial will be in Quapaw Tribal Cemetery. Indian rites will be conducted by Dawes at graveside. Pallbearers were Henry Ellick, Shane Ellick, Bill Ellick, Mike McKibbon and Jim Greenfeather. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Hare, Timothy White, Debra White and Kay White.
